Can someone please explain what the benefits of Gold card renewal are? Companion ticket? Renewal bonus? Family account, (last time I asked on the phone I was told there were suspended)?
My account tells me I only need 800 points before March 2024 to renew Gold. Can this be right? I thought the lower threshold was only until April 2023? I cant find any “bonuses” showing in my account.
Thanks.
You’ll find a tier comparison at https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/us/en/flying-club/members/membership-tiers.html – Gold has numerous benefits above Silver, so it’s easier to go to the source for that. You may value certain benefits above other ones.
Family accounts are suspended for creation until they can come up with a decent way to actually start the creation of them. The old process was manual and cumbersome, with a new process going to be online only and self-service.
Golds who expire between April 1st 2022 and March 31st 2023 have an 800 TP renewal requirement, per https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/us/en/flying-club/members/membership-tiers.html. Click the Gold benefits tab to see this in person.
Bonuses such as vouchers etc. do not appear in your account. Call Flying Club and they’ll tell you what you have and relevant expiry dates.
