Gold supplementary holder using Priority Pass?

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but can a gold supplementary card holder use the priority pass lounge passes without the primary card holder travelling? I’m sure for practical reasons it would be a no – held platinum until very recently so this wasn’t an issues.

No, for the Gold, the cardholder must be one of people entering the lounge.
