So today is the day I had to keep my Premier account and Barclaycard+ open until to receive my 100k Avios. Now the fun waiting game to see at what point in the next two months does it actually turn up, and will I get a notification? Fun times!
Friday for me. Fingers crossed they turn up within the next 2 minths…
So in practice I might have to keep the card and account for 6 months rather than the minimum of 4?! I’m watching this thread with interest, my 4 months is not up until March.
My date was today, and the payment for Avios Rewards has gone out today.
1500 for having rewards, and card spend posted today, but no 100k. I don’t expect it to appear until March 2nd at the earliest now.
From the T’s and Cs:
“You must also continue to hold both products for four months from the date of the product you’ve opened or joined most recently.“
And
“You will receive the Avios Bonus within two months from the date you meet the eligibility criteria.”
Which suggest you no longer need to keep both if you don’t want to. I’m keeping mine anyway for the perks, so won’t be the Guinea pig!

I have no plans to be the guinea pig either, don’t want to imagine the fight for the points if they don’t turn up automatically and I have to have endless calls about the points after I have closed the products.
You will be able to see your Avios Bonus in your
BAEC account. Your Avios Bonus will not be
displayed in the Barclays or Barclaycard app.You most likely won’t see them in the Barclays app. I think this will be a direct transfer to BAEC outside of the normal system.
