I just got a Seatspy notification and went to my booking but I just can’t find where to upgrade a reward flight. This used to be so easy but the new layout is impenetrable. I’m trying to be a nice BAEC member and not call up but they make it sooooo hard not to need the call centre.
I had the upgrade with avios option today for a flight this weekend to gva
I also am looking for this. No option in MMB either before we went out, and again not for our return. Seeing as planes are pretty full I could image that being he reason, but not having anywhere obvious referring to it just makes me feel like I’ve overlooked something
I couldn’t find this at all in the new layout. When I clicked return to old layout, I could see it in the normal place, either upgrade with cash or Avios, but clicking through both said I had to phone to do so. Despite trying phone, twitter and chat I’ve not got through yet.

If you don’t mind getting up earlier then try the Singapore number via Skype around 7am, always get through in a couple of mins max

How do you revert the layout?
How do you revert the layout?
Answering by own question: there’s a link above the menus at the top of the page.
Upgrade is in the old layout but unfortunately I get “Sorry, it is not possible to change this booking on ba.com. Please call your local British Airways office to change this booking.”
Thanks SamG will try that, tried Skype to uk number several times over the last two days and get cut off immediately, assume very busy with storm backlog. Did get a reply from twitter 3 days later saying we aren’t dealing with anything that departs over 2 weeks later. Avios tickets have gone now so, I guess it’s too late too bother calling anyway. Frustrating.
