Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Hilton Honors Heathrow Dounletree

It looks like the Heathrow Doubletree has closed. Although a search for a hotel in Heathrow on Hilton.com still shows up the hotel as being a doubletree it shows as being sold out for the next year.
If you then walk/drive past it (I am currently staying at the Moxy LHR which is almost opposite) you’ll see the signage and branding has gone. I’m assuming it’s been turned into a migrant hotel as no sign of construction to suggest a refit. It’s a shame as it usually had decent rates if you wanted to stay with Hilton at LHR

Do you mean the old one with the funny tower in front that used to be a Jury’s? As an ex-Jury’s that wouldn’t surprise me.

But it would surprise me if you meant the Doubletree at Tetminal 2, or the other Doubletree at Terminal 4.

There’s only one DT at LHR. T2 is HGI and T4 is Hilton

It has been government use since November 2024.

I stayed there 17th October last year, must have been just before it closed. Was tired AF then so if they have any sense they’ll be using this as a ploy to fund a refurb.

Or perhaps 3rd runway demolition will come before that.
