Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Heathrow Terminal 4 Premium Check in (NOT LOUNGE!)

  • 1 post

Flying to Doha with Economy ticket but I’m Oneworld Emerald; I know I can only go to the lower tier lounge in T4 (Premium lounge only for business/ first class ticket holders) but can I still use the Premium Check in (baggage check-in)?

Saw a lot of great posts about Qatar Airways’ T4Lounges at Heathrow. I know they often go out of their ways to exclude Oneworld status member from their offering so want to check.

    Thanks in advance!

Last time flying QR in economy we were directed to the standard queue with staff saying premium check in was reserved for business and first customers only. It was very busy though, so not sure if that was a factor.

Not sure on answer to your question but regardless you are not missing much. Is a similar desk with a small seating area with some glasses of water

I could have sworn there was a queue for One word Emerald and Saphire last time (well, the only time) I went to T4. It’s close to the business class section.
As already mentioned, the other side is nothing special.

Yorkshire rich is correct , just used it 2 weeks ago right next to the premium check in , there is designated desk for elite members

Lounge wise QR business tickets go right into lounge elite members go left down the stairs

I’m BA gold, just flew LHR-DOH-BKK-DOH-LHR

I was lucky despite flight being full the seat next to me was empty . Purser introduced themselves on every flight . Cabin attendant took meal choice on every flight … I found the crew great on all sectors.

Noticed it was Q suite on all flights too which was a real shame (last time I booked it got a equipment change so missed out)

If u have a QR ticket they do have a designated desk in Doha for upgrades , can be cheap ish if flights empty
