Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Help. Reward flight book for 5 adults but 3 are children

Hi there to all of you.
I’m posing some questions here because I’m experiencing some anxiety due to the following problem.
A few months back, I used Avios to book our first rewards ticket—an Aerlingus flight from Dublin to Madrid—for our family. I had to make the phone reservation because at that time, Avios was covering these procedures and the three children. I didn’t verify the paperwork at that moment and left everything organised.
I just discovered that there are five adults listed in the travel forms rather than just two, and we are leaving tomorrow. With little time, Aerlingus is not responding calls, so I’m not sure if this indicates issues ahead.
Could you please shed some light on this for me? Could we not board at all?

Are all the passengers names and dates of birth correct and passport details provided? If so it shouldn’t matter whether they’re listed as adults or children – though I would have thought this would automatically go off DOB for each person.

Adult or child doesn’t really matter for redemption prices (unless a lap infant)

So wouldn’t worry as long as the names and DOB are all good as NorthernLass says. Probably worth getting there on time/with good time though just incase.

    Hello
I appreciate your messages. Yes, I do recall giving the names and date of births (they didn’t ask for my passport number). However, those details aren’t on the documentation, and I was unable to complete the Aerlingus check-in process because there were no adult passengers.
I suppose I’ll simply have to ask at the desk, but after reading through everything, I believe everything will work out okay.
