Help: How to book JetBlue with Avios

Hello,

I am struggling to book rewards seats with Qatar on JetBlue. I can get the reward from JFK to LHR to show but when I try and search Boston to LHR or JFK to EDI it tries to route me via Doha.

Does anyone know how I stop it routing me via Doha.

I had similar issues trying to get an EDI screenshot for our article this week. No problem getting Lon/NYC to price up but nothing to/from EDI.

I have just tried booking Boston to Milwaukee on JetBlue via the Qatar (Avios) route. Got a reply from customer service as follows:

“Regarding your request, we have checked the availability for your requested journey on [date redacted] and in redemption on B6.

However, we are unable to process your request, as the redemption seats are currently unavailable for +/- 3 days of original.

Redemption seats are limited and capacity controlled hence, there are limitations on the number of seats available for redemption on any given flight. Certain days/periods may have no award seat availability; this is a global industry practice and is a function of flight forecasts.”

So, I am guessing that it may be that they don’t have seats available on the direct route you want and are offering you the only route on which they have reward seats avaialable.
