I have just realised that our flight from Manchester to Bucharest via Heathrow return arrives in T5 Heathrow but leaves from T3 can anyone who has done this let me know approximately how long it takes and the best way to transfer. I thought we would have time to spend in the lounge but I guess we have to check in all over again although our luggage will go straight through? Thinking I might have to change our flight times? Thanks
On arrival into LHR from MAN follow the purple connections route to T3 and take the airside bus.
You’ll reclear security there and are then free to use the T3 lounges / shops etc (see the recent T3 lounge review posts for the best one to use)
Minimum Connection Time for T5-T3 is 90 minutes but most people do it in half that or less.
BA won’t have sold you a single ticket with a connection time of less than 90 minutes. What;s the current time between landing and departing LHR?
Hi ChrisC thanks, the time between landing and departing is going 2hrs 20 mins and returning 1.45 hrs so cutting it fine coming back maybe?
