    I mention the following which may be usefulto know for those ordering at short notice and are unaware.
    The official timings for orders is shown on the Highlife website…not obvious, under Customer Services, Timings. (And certainly , no notice shown when inputting flight details.)

    I will only concentrate on Gatwick as
    I got caught out last week, returning from a few days sunshine in Tenerife .

    There are two options shown, Short Haul and Long Haul. The minimum notice order times for delivery on board are;

    Leaving Gatwick SH 24hrs
    Returning Gatwick SH 48hrs

    Leaving Gatwick LH 24hrs
    Returning Gatwick LH 72hrs

    Going out to Tenerife, or anywhere else around Europe, is operated by the BA Euroflyer division, which of course, do not fly Longhaul.

    Ordering my usual Gin for the return journey I was surprised to see that my order could not be processed as I had missed the 72 hr deadline !
    Tenerife is around a 4+hrs flight, hardly longhaul, and in any event should be SH.
    I have raised the issue with Highlife, to be told if it happens again….raise it. No mention whether it should be regarded as a SH flight.

    So I still don’t know, is it a SH or LH route as far as Highlife are concerned?

    Last time I tried ordering in advance from the High Life Shop, nothing was loaded and the promised refund never arrived. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card. Not worth the hassle. Tried complaining to BA who refused to consider a complaint.
