The last thread I found on this discussed boiled eggs in luggage lol.
Just wanted to double check if “Honors Discount Advance Purchase” counts towards the £200 cumulative £200 target spend?
Does the payment have to be made at the hotel on check out?
With Hilton (not always the case with all hotel offers), prepaid bookings are also OK because payment is taken by the hotel and not head office.
I made a prepaid booking on Friday and confirm the offer triggered
Further to Ash’s question re amex/£50 off deal,I had already booked a 3 night ‘Stay longer and Save’ for this weekend (which is also technically an ‘advanced payment’/ no refund) on my HH Barclaycard Visa c/c as usual. I was wondering if I could pay (on checkout) £200 on Amex and the balance on my HH B/card Visa c/c assuming the ‘advanced payment’ has not already been taken ?

Is the 3 night spend and save for select hotels? Tried 3 night searches for some UK and overseas ones and the daily rate remained the same.
Re Ash – there is a list of hotels but the main thing is you have to book you deal at LEAST 7 days in advance of your required stay. The deal should come up in the drop down option list of rates for your chosen hotel if applicable 😬
As a data point, two pre-paid bookings made on Friday on two different cards. Card charged on Saturday for both. Bonus MR credited to my account this morning.
Does this offer trigger if booked through the Hilton app as well as on the desktop website does anyone know please?
Yep I’ve done three recently via the app and all triggered successfully
I have the £50 offer on my Nectar card. Looking at a booking at Manchester & Liverpool next summer. Have 2 questions:
1. The offer validity is 31st Dec. Can I make bookings further than that? Need some bookings for June next year.
2. Can I make 2 bookings to take it over £200 limit to get the offer or do I need a single booking of £200 to qualify?1. Yes as long as hotel takes the payment this year
2. Rules very clearly say you can do multipleHi all – i am looking to use this offer on my platinum card for a booking in July (using the advance purchase to charge the card now). I am however looking to cancel my platinum in late Jan with the fee increase / withdrawal of pro rata refunds. Would this cause complications at check-in? I would retain the physical card but not sure if Hilton need my card to be active per se at check-in time. Thanks.
You don’t need to still hold the card after you’ve triggered the offer, just remember to tell them you’re using a different one for any expenses you incur during your stay.
Is the 9000 MR offer definitely cumulative? I just read the T&Cs which are slightly different between the 9000 MR and £50 offers: the first says “get 9,000 MR Points on eligible spend of £200+ in participating hotel(s)” and the second “a £50 statement credit when you make one or more transactions up to £200+ in participating hotel(s)”.
I recently booked 2 rooms for a stay in London next weekend and Hilton has split the transactions for each of them so they show up as £116.63 x2, however, that didn’t seem to make any difference as 9000 posted very shortly after transactions cleared. Bare in mind that if you are booking a non-refundable rate that’s past the offer expiry date, it seems like it actually takes the hotel quite some time to process the transactions. Nothing appeared on my statement for a week after I booked.

I spent £200 across three hotels, and the points posted fine 2 days after the final payment cleared. Similar experience with the £50 offer which I used twice both times split across multiple stays.
When does a pre-paid booking take payment? I made an advance prepay booking this morning, and no pending payment has appeared yet…

It usually takes a day or two – I think it’s got a degree of manual processing. I booked a pre-paid rate on 30 Nov and it hit my card on 1 Dec and MRs posted on 3 Dec.
