    Hello

Does anyone have any feedback on Hilton at Ageas Bowl particularly the spa please?

I don’t do spas but I heard the lounge is permanently closed and once occupancy is on the high side the staff just can’t cope (because there aren’t enough of them). Avoid at busy times not related to the cricket. I believe during school holidays it’s popular for Peppa Pig

I’ve stayed here quite a lot over the last 18 months. The rooms are good, especially the pitch view with balcony. I almost always get an upgrade from lowest category to king exec pitch view or a suite as a diamond. Front desk staff usually great. Exec lounge closed but will give you a couple of drinks vouchers is eligible (though they sometimes need reminding…)
Breakfast is usually very decent. Dinner hit and miss, misses usually caused by poorly trained staff.
Can’t comment on the spa as I’ve not used it but I have in the past had a room overlooking the outdoor jacuzzi, where people appeared to be enjoying themselves!

I stayed here once back in November and I must admit it was a huge mistake that I made.

Just a few updates on diamond benefits: two hot drink vouchers (we didn’t use as the use of vouchers was very restrictive, only redeemable in a few hours in the afternoon), NO more complimentary spa access for Diamond members. Executive lounge was closed until further notice (rumour is that it will be closed permanently, as reported above and other sources). Breakfast was utterly underwhelming, in fact it was at the standard of a Holiday Inn Express.

To make it worse the quality of other guests were as subpar as the breakfast, I was woken up late in night for multiple times, by various people who decided to yell at their mates loudly at the hallway from evening drinks. 1:30am and 2:00am. Clearly the poor insulation of the room door played a big role to this but these guests were also very inconsiderate in the first place.
