I am very confused. I’m looking at the same Boston USA hotel booked via the Hilton website or the BA website .If I book via BA ( cheaper by £400) will I get hit for amenity/service fees when i arrive?
    Thanks

    I would say yes.

It’s usually buried on one of the pages relating to the hotel in the booking process if you need to pay it locally so read them all carefully.

It really irks me that you spend time looking at hotels thinking they cost X then discover it’s really X+. I don’t care if I have to pay it locally they should still be able to display the full cost!

If it’s a cash booking you would have to pay the amenity fee whoever you booked with, surely? The Hilton website can be misleading, as it’s US-based you often don’t get the full price quoted until the end of the booking process. I always make sure to set the currency to GBP when I’m searching as that seems to throw up the full price from the start. When it’s in USD it can double by the time you get to the confirmation page!

We stayed one night at the Hilton Logan airport recently – not cheap but you do get $36 credit per day and I don’t think there was a “resort fee”!
