Nice surprise, on my iOS Hilton app, they seem to update the fonts. As an admirer of typography, I liked it!

That doesn’t bother me.
I used to profit from that to hedge in high inflation countries like Turkey. Booking rate used to be, say, £100, but I used to end up paying £90 as I used to fix the price in local currency.Or some times when £ gained value against the local currency. So locking the price in local currency may help.
They mean view rates in GBP, not lock in a price in GBP. It’s very frustrating to not have the functionality in the app

I guess it can show both.It is very annoying, plus you have to click through to the payment page for all the taxes etc to be added and appear so you know what the full price is (which can be double the headline quote). I can’t see any way to change this as you can on the website.
It’s also useful to see the price in GBP if you’re pre-paying to trigger an Amex offer and need to spend a minimum amount.

Sure. It’s never the minimum rate I end up paying anyway. I usually go for semiflex with HH discount and taxes etc inflate the advertised rate.
