Hilton Day Use and elite night credits

Hi. Does anyone know if day use booking still qualify for Hilton elite night credits. I know they used to be seen conflicting information

That means it’s worth getting a day use in during the Amex £50 spend promo that end tomorrow

If you check in at 8am on a day stay and then also stay the night, it counts as one.

If you do a day stay the same day as checking out of, or checking into, another hotel, sometimes it gets treated as overlapping and doesn’t count. Sometimes contacting the Hilton team on X will get the stay manually credited, however you may not get a night credit otherwise you could get to diamond in 15 nights and days at two adjacent properties…
