Going to the Manchester Hilton Golf day on Sun 17/7 (1 extra redemption came available couple days ago) and staying 2 nights @ Hilton Garden Inn, OT. Any advice on where to go within walking for dinner on the Saturday evening? Only ever been Manchester once around 10 years ago and remember it being nice around OT area. Thanks

Not sure there’s a great deal in the immediate vicinity, but you’re right next to a tram stop so you could very easily/quickly get into the city centre.
OT football ground is a 10-15 min walk away, then you’re very close to Salford Quays just over the canal, which is also a decent option.

Its a nice hotel with a good breakfast. if you are Diamond you generally get upgraded to a pitch view room.

Nearby as Degsy has said nothing really at all but the City centre is a 10 Min tram ride away with Old Trafford Tram stop right next to the hotel. Much more to choose from there than in Salford Quays which is poor for food.

Trafford Centre in the other direction has some good chain options too. I hear good things about ‘Pesto’.

Avoid the Trafford Centre at the weekend if at all possible. It’s so busy the queue to get in and out actually causes the motorway traffic to slow to a crawl! You think there’s been some serious incident them you realise it’s crazy people going shopping on a Sunday 🤦‍♀️😂
