Hilton London Tower Bridge – Automated SMS bot telephone number

The Hilton London Tower Bridge has automated guest relations software that sends you text messages during your stay.

Does anyone with a recent stay know what telephone number they use? Specifically, is it 07937 946805?

I’ve asked the hotel, and they don’t know!

I am asking because I was charged for replying to a text on that number last Sunday morning, and the only text I remember sending was to the Hilton (since deleted).

It’s chargeable apparently because, despite looking like a regular UK mobile number, it’s actually provided by Jersey Telecom, and therefore not covered by EE’s inclusive allowance.

Very bad of the property to be using a non-UK number that looks like one and then invite you to interact with it.
