Hello, does anyone have any experience of staying at the hilton Galatzo in Mallorca. This one that hasn’t been reviewed as yet. I am looking at staying potentially at the start of September for 6 or so days with my wife and 2 year old child (28months to be exact). It’s very reasonably priced in comparison to the Sheraton etc.
Has people got much experience of it – In terms of family stays, pool access, dinning etc. I’m considering a half board package as i haven’t looked to see what is nearby yet in terms of local restaurants etc? So I’m wondering if this is a good idea. If anyone could shine any light on this it would be appreciated. I know it’s relatively newly refurbished (I’m a gold member).

I’ve taken the plunge and booked it. I shall try and remember to write a little personal experience. It was good value for 6 nights in a suite.
We stayed there when it first became a Hilton 2 years ago, with our 2 kids, and were pleasantly surprised. As it wasnt originally a Hilton, it feels unique and Spanish. Certainly not a cookie-cutter Hilton property.
The pools were good, and had loads of sunbeds, and various areas to sit – some shaded, some not. Breakfast and lunch were good. But it was very limited for dinner options.
You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck compared to other similar properties in Mallorca. I would suggest you need a rental car – Paguera is a short drive, and has some decent restaurants – Mar y Mar on the beach was very good.
