Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points
If you are looking for a holiday where you read and sunbathe by a deserted, silent pool with a fantastic lounge (3 proper meals a day, beers, spirits and bubbles 06.00-20.00) and excellent weather almost all year, this hotel is worth consideration. I wouldn`t suggest this area if you want more from your holiday, however.
When I was last here there were rogue fire alarms in the night. I complained – my points were returned and the manager asked me to contact him directly before my next visit. My current points booking has been upgraded to a suite and the manager has just been to see me to say that I can checkout at any time I like tomorrow which is convenient as my flight is 7.35pm. Very impressive.
I’d happily spend 40k points a night to stay here. Even at height of summer holidays it’s still 40k. Thanks for review it made me go and look at the hotel.unfortunately these days sitting, reading and swimming is about all my body is up to so perfect for me.
My pleasure. It is 50 euros and about 45 minutes from LCA in a taxi if you don`t want to hire a car.

Thanks I hate driving so that is useful info.
Me too, when on holiday, but they drive on the left here which helps!
We stayed last summer for a few days before going to a resort hotel on the coast. Agree it is great value for points and a nice hotel with a really good pool area.
Though would disagree a bit with the “only if you want nothing to do”. It is an easy taxi ride into the city – there are a few apps, including Bolt – where there is a couple of days worth of things to visit, and has some nice restaurants. You can also cross into the Turkish side of the island.
We only hired a car when moving on to head elsewhere, which worked well, but equally could have used this as a base for visiting the central mountains or north of the island.
That is good to know, I shall investigate. Thank you.
Was 30k until a couple of months ago
3 meals a day and alcohol all day is good
Rooms are a bit 60s despite the refurbishment…feels that way too
Thanks pbcold. Apart from the breakfast, are the other dining and drinks offered “(3 proper meals a day, beers, spirits and bubbles 06.00-20.00)” by benefit of lounge access? If so I assume you are Diamond? Any experience of Gold having a similar upgrade? Thanks again.
Went in 2016, paid 30k points too, there wasn’t a lounge as such then but they sent free stuff to the room.
€8 for a minibus from the airport to within walking distance of the hotel. On the return, took the local coach to Larnaca town for €4, walked around for a bit then took a bus to the airport for €1.30. I guess prices will have gone up since.
Went to the Turkish side which was a lot more interesting. Had the biggest kebab ever for €2 worth of lira though they wanted €4 if paying in euros. Would like to explore there more but have realised my son can only cope with 2 hours of flying at once (not sure how we are going to go to Australia in August which is required for family admin stuff).

I am sorry QRA, I do not know what the Gold benefits are beyond a really good amount of choice at breakfast. I have been upgraded to a suite which includes exec. lounge access (yes, I am diamond but if I would certainly pay for the use of the lounge in this instance).
