Planning to stay here on 8-13 Jan with a 3 year old and 4 month old. Any tips/suggestions or facilities at the hotel which is not obvious?
The beach area is not finished so only the pool is open at the moment, I have been twice now and both times thought it was amazing value as it includes the theme park access and the bus to and from them. The buffet in the main restaurant is great as is the Friday brunch.
Kids club seemed decent but my older one (6) didn’t use as we were too busy at the parks. What I would say is check the days the different parks are open and plan accordingly as some are only open for ladies certain days.
If you need a PCR test to fly home then they’re capped at £10 and can be done in the YAS Mall around the corner.
Thanks – looking forward to it even more now.
it was amazing – easy shuttles but keep in mind that it does take it an hour to come and wait outside and get to the attractions in Yas (free tickets obvs)good breakfast, pool area and kiddies play area was amazing. did have a keen kids club which we didnt use.
have a look at the Warner brother ones.New Hotel – photos look nice and right next to WB world and Waterworld…so if you were doing 2 days of kiddies parks – I would be doing WB one next time as saves 2-3 hrs every day at least.
Before going I was mistaken that all these places are ‘close by’ – they are but 3-5 kms apart
I was there last week for F1 and did all the Yas attractions which were very good! Yas Beach is also a good happy medium it seemed for families. On the manufactured beach but also had an infinity pool where I saw families enjoying spending time. Our hotel was in Yas Plaza so we had free entry, so unsure whether the Hilton has the same perk, but worth looking into.
+1 re PCR test in the Yas Mall – it’s sort of in the car park entrance, and abit of a faff we found to find (maybe that was just us!) but 50AED and our “next day” results came back 7hours later!
Make sure you sign up to the Alhosn app through the ICA website before you go – the whole set up of the app does take a few hours post test on arrival so do not panic if it doesn’t allow you to log in straight away.

Yes, definitely check Theme Park timings – I managed to have two days to go to Ferrari World, and it was closed on both.
Will have to make another trip!
