HMRC and Council Tax Amex workarounds?

Hi @hwqcgsw it took 2-3 weeks to arrive from Edinburgh Council.

I’d still love to figure out the bar code to use for Google Pay!

Is it not just Google wallet -> add to Wallet at the bottom of the screen -> Photo (create a digital pass from a barcode or QR code -> take a picture of the barcode on the card -> barcode shows on Google wallet?

Sadly there is no barcode or QR Code. Just a long digit numbe (last is 0). The PayPpoint receipt has the first 18 digits printed on it (0 is truncated). I’m tempted to roll a Code 128 barcode using the 19 digits and attempt to pay in £1 to see what the system makes of it!

I use Monzo as my main account.
Paypoint Amex works at coops.
But, at least in my case, the max one can deposit is £300.
And Monzo deducts £1.
So you need to pay attention and track your limits on the app.

Wait does Monzo let you put money into your bank via your AMEX or are you talking about cash deposits?
