Hotel recommendations for Abu Dhabi

We are spending 2 days in Abu Dhabi to break our trip to Johannesburg. Any recommendations on hotels? We previously stayed at Madinat in Dubai and kids loved it. Thinking of trying Abu Dhabi this time around.

We liked the Shanghai had huge suite with view of Grand Mosque.

Conrad Etihad Towers is very nice and has lots of facilities for families. I also liked Sofitel, but that’s because they upgraded me to the Imperial Suite.

However, St.Regis, Park Hyatt and resorts on Saadiyat Island are perhaps the best for families.

Thanks both. I did look at St Regis Saadiyat as there was reward night. Also looked at Conrad….but didnt really have anything to base my selection on except I have hilton and Bonvoy points. Open to more suggestions and willing to pay cash for kids to enjoy.

Warner Bros hotel Yas island. Part of Hilton, cheaper compared to a suggestions above, comes with daily passes to amusement parks.
