How long is BA taking to process refunds?

I requested a refund for my cancelled flight two weeks ago and have yet to receive my money back. Does anyone know long I can expect to wait?

I was told up to a month the other day on the phone with the BA agent – mine was showing as “processing refund online”
Any quicker way to chase up refunds? Urgently waiting for Avios to be refunded so I can make a redemption. Its been over a month. Reluctant to call and wait but if there is a number prole use to get through quickly please share. No status with BA though.
Interestingly 261 legislation says BA must refund your money within 7 days after your flight is cancelled if you choose a refund as your option. And Covid is definitely not regarded as an excuse anymore

I requested a refund for a cancelled flight – the cash element was refunded in less than a week, but I’m still waiting three weeks later to see my miles and 241 vouchers returned. As per LondonGuy, mamange my booking shows that a refund is in progress still.

If you call in about this likely they’ll do it over the phone – shouldn’t take this long, especially as you have the cash already
Called silver line to get refund on Friday afternoon, answered in 15 minutes. Agent said he couldn’t do it and would have to send a request to the ticketing team, but the money was back to my amex on Monday. Still waiting for avios but don’t need them urgently.
