I’m thinking of getting this card to pay off the balance on my Virgin Holiday which would hit the 3k spend and activate the 30k points bonus

How much is 30k points worth given the £160 fee?

I used 55k points + upgrade voucher to get Upperclass LA return for £1000 as opposed to £3200 cash fare
Precovid I got UC for £550 to SFO and MCO so my 165k points and 3 upgrade vouchers have saved me £6000+

But you will find it nearer 1p a point in Economy
Dont forget to value the fact that you can cancel a reward flight for £35
