Im trying to book some flights for family of 5. However it doesn’t let me actually use the household avios balance. I’ve added my wife as a member and added the kids in the friends and family list yet still unable to use the pooled points. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
In what way are you unable to use them? If you are in an HHA and it is showing the cumulative balance, anything you redeem is automatically taken from each HHA member proportionately, you don’t need to do anything different.
As an aside you should add the kids to the HHA as well in their own right. Doesn’t matter for reward flights, but any cash fares they earn avios too.
When I go to redeem, it only shows my own accounts avios available to use and not the higher pooled amount.
