Hi, I’ve done a search on the forum and I can’t seem to find the answer. I’m sure it’s probably staring straight at me but I can’t find it!
I know that if I share my invite link, someone can sign up to all the AMEX cards available even for cards I do not have. I can see the benefit terms for the ones I have but I can’t see it for ones I don’t have. Where can I find this out?
For example, I have Platinum Everyday Cashback but someone wants to sign up to the Platinum Business. I can see what they would get but not myself.
Thanks!
when you generate your referral link, it tells you there
It’s usually the same, whichever card they eventually apply for (using the referral link!)

This has been my experience, provided the person signs up in the same “family” of cards — personal or business. From one type to another I doubt anything will be paid. In either case if your referee signs up for something else and you actually get nothing, you can’t really complain, the terms are for referring someone to the card you hold.

Thanks, that makes sense. So it has to the in the same personal or business collection of cards.
No, it can be any card. I’ve referred from avios to MR and vice versa.
Usually when the referred person clicks on the link, they’ll be offered the other cards as alternatives to the one you’re referring from.

Thanks got it, much appreciated.
What @memesweeper was saying was between all personal and all business cards.
If someone refers you to a personal card, if you choose amongst any personal cards should be fine. If you apply for a business card, then no.
