Following the recent tightening of the eligibility criteria, it seems HSBC Premier has added some new health benefits provided by ‘Square Health’. They include digital GP consultations (including issuing private prescriptions), specialist medical second opinions, remote physiotherapy, a once-a-year health check (using a blood test kit sent by post) and mental health appointments. Apart from the digital GP these all have a limited number of uses per year. They have also added a £2,000 cancer bereavement cover.

On the page there’s a link to a brochure with more details as well.

Good spot. Not sure how valuable £2k of cover for cancer bereavement will be for the average HSBC Premier customer but the private health benefits are interesting.

Interesting, seems to be the same ‘extra’ benefits that The Exeter provide through their app

A PSA test would’ve been useful but I can’t see that on the blood test kit section, although it doesn’t state the full range in the info. But overall a good addition to the package.

    Nice addition.
How does one get a login for the health app?

Apparently they will email you. Not sure how it will work for existing Premier customers yet.

As an existing Premier customer I received the first email about this on Monday. Yesterday, I received the invite to sign up with their partner Square Health – who have a shockingly low rating on Trustpilot, etc.

    It’s the same underlying provider.
