    Is their application process still painful? Player 2 thinking about applying…I recall it being gut wrenching. Think the best way was to apply for a normal account and then upgrade.

    It all depends if all the data you supply in your applications matches very precisely with the automated sources they check. If it does, your account can be opened within minutes. If there are any discrepancies or anything is missing, it may require waiting while they carry out further checks, contact or a branch visit but that’s quite unlikely.

    don’t apply for a normal account and upgrade, that’s the painful way. apply directly

    Thanks for the input. Went the standard way and will be hearing back in 3 to 5 days apparently….then onto the credit card.
