Forums Payment cards American Express Hyatt £100 off £250 spend Offer

    Hello!

If you were to purchase a room rate via Hyatt.com that was non-refundable (so charged immediately), for a stay date AFTER the offer end date – would this still work?

Or, does it absolutely have to be on checkout spend, physically at the hotel, within the offer Amex cashback period?

    Thank you!

Yes this works as long as it’s charged by the hotel.

It’s an advance purchase rate so you’d think they would. It’s annoying they can’t just include pre-paid rates in the offer t&cs.

How do you know if it’s charged by hotel or not?

Also, do you know if you ring up can you pay upfront in full? Annoyingly the cheapest rate is the one that is refundable And includes breakfast.

I’m currently in dispute with Amex over this. Had the offer on main and supp BAPP and used both cards to book 2 nights at Schloss Roxburghe as a wedding anniversary treat next March. The booking made with the supp card triggered the £100 within a few days (so pre-payment definitely works), but not the main card. Amex are saying the offer never saved to the main card, even though I have sent them a screenshot of it!

Does anyone know if this can be used for any Hyatt hotel? Or is there a participating locations list?
