How quickly does InterContinental Ambassador status show up?

My Ambassador status elapsed on Dec. 1st. When I renew, how quickly will it show it my account? I have an I/C stay starting on NYE. Many thanks.

Don’t know if it’s still the case but some ICs would provide further benefits if you joined ambassador through them (at check in) – may be worth asking the hotel in advance if they can offer anything

Depending on where the IC is I wouldn’t rely on them doing anything extra over and above nornal AMB benefits for an arrival on NYE where they are likely to be very busy.
