Can anyone clarify if the American Express business gold charge card is classed as a personal MR card?
I obtained one of these about 18 months ago for my sole trader business and cancelled my BA premium plus card about a year ago, and was wondering if I would qualify for the current bonus offer on the Amex Platinum card. I’m interested in that card as I have a long holiday in Australia and NZ early next year and would like to avail of the lounge and eating out benefits as well as the insurance perks.
No.
You would qualify for bonus on both Business Platinum (because there are no bonus rules on that) or personal Platinum (because you’ve not had a personal Membership Rewards card for 2 years). You only get the £400 dining credit on personal Plat though.
