Forums Frequent flyer programs Other frequent flyer schemes IB 3 different redemption rates!

So looking at IB flights to TYO and there are 3 different redemption figures – the off peak rate appears to be 29,750 Avios in Y but then the rate on 4 April is 35,000 and on 2 April it’s 49,000.

    What are the differences?

Looking for J which I assume will be multiples of those figures.

This is normal. Iberia has pricing for Blue economy and economy as well as peak and off peak. Business just has peak/off peak. I haven’t actually checked it anywhere, but on making a booking for 4 April 2026, I was told that April 2026 is Iberia peak until 7 April. All this prices off the distance based chart.

This old HfP article is very helpful.

Easter weekend is April 3rd to 6th next year so prices and demand will be high from the European side.
