I recently flew LHR-MAD and MAD-LHR on a BA-ticketed, IB-operated service, with both flights in V class. Despite given BA my BAEC number, I wasn’t credited for Avios or Tier Points. I claimed via the BA website and the status has updated this evening to ‘rejected’, yet no other details have been given to me. I think I should be due 20 TPs and 1080 Avios in total. Any quirks about V class that I’m not aware of?
I recently flew the same route in economy, ticketed by BA but operated by Iberia, no Avios or Tier points have been awarded and no way of claiming online. Any suggestions how to claim?
You claim by logging in to BAEC, choosing Claim Missing Avios from the left side then starting a partner claim. I suppose I’ll have to suffer BA this morning and call to ask why it was rejected.
I had something similar back in February. Claim was rejected.
I ended up filling in the generic complaint form: https://www.britishairways.com/travel/customerportal/public/en_gb#/customer-service-portal
After a few days BA credited my account with the relevant Avios & Tier Points.
