Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points
I’m currently BA silver. After reading through here, going through Iberia seems to be the best way to get tier status for next year. I read that you should credit your BA flights to your Iberia account. How do I do that? I am going to fly to Australia this Christmas and want to maximise my avios/tier potential. I live in Jersey so more or less have to use BA to get to Heathrow as a main hub. From there I have a number of options to get to Oz. Also I have a couple of flights to Spain and back in the summer with BA. Can I credit them to my Iberia account? Hope you can help
Put your IB CIP member number on the booking instead of your BAC number.
It is possible to change the number, i.e. start with the BAC one to get free seat selection, lounge etc., then change to IB CIP to get the flights to credit there (there are posts on how/when to do this on HfP and also on Flyertalk.)
