No indication it has changed.

Remember it is only for IB flights. If you book with another airline they won’t refund.

Thanks..I need to do some comparisons…multi carrier or straight forward Iberia…I guess multi carrier with Iberia along the way may cause a problem if I need to cancel, but out of Madrid straight through is the usual IB bargain. Not sure about any internal connections though, unless anyone has any thoughts, Brazil or Argentina.

Check those internal flights. In Colombia using Avianca is easy and cheap (I buy on the combos website directly as the prices are lower and you can cancel up to a week after booking).

But I was surprised on how expensive internal flights in Argentina are with Aerolíneas or other LCC. Once you add luggage and other prices can more than double.

I’m not sure where you are buying your internal flights – even AR is as cheap as chips with the MEP rate and there’s always FlyBondi or JetSmart that are even cheaper but more subject to disruption. With AR, premium economy (the highest class on domestics but uses proper large business seats) can be a fair bit cheaper than economy with add-ons and some of those flights are quite long.
