Iberia cancellation fees when booking via BA

Hi – looking for some advice from more experienced travellers.

I bought a rewards ticket from South America to London via Iberia (IB flight to Madrid, and then Madrid – London via BA, all under the same booking).

If I am to cancel this booking, will I only get the £25 cancellation fee (and my avios)?

Asking because weirdly the BA website doesn’t show the cancellation costs as they normally do when I go to cancel the booking. Instead they ask for my address and say they will calculate it after I hit submit. So just getting a bit of cold feet before hitting send!

You will pay the standard BA cancellation fee which is £35pp. (When booking DIRECTLY with IB you can cancel Avios tickets for EUR 25 (if I remember well) AS LONG AS THE CARRIER IS IB. If you book a BA or other airline on the IB website with Iberia Plus avios you WON’T be able to cancel)

Thanks for the advice! Not sure why they don’t show the costs / refund amount straight away – maybe because it’s an IB flight?
