Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Iberia long haul destinations? Business

@e14 Not something I looked into to be honest. Booked very last minute so fair to say not a lot of options considered. For any future trip I’ll hopefully have time to run the numbers. I do find that anything returning outside of London needs a lengthy call with customer service team. I’m thinking iberia offer layover then and might have routed us into BA back to Glasgow? They don’t fly to Glasgow but hadn’t considered code share options.

My IB experience was brilliant. Food, wine, attention onboard and in MAD lounge, shower usage, sleep rooms. Being able to check in bags 24 hours before was a great plus. My mum is booked on 23:00 to BOG and arrives at MAD from LHR at 11am. Hoping 12 hours is a good enough buffer as she plans to sightsee til the late night flight.

Enjoy it. Being able to use 241 is the main reason I’m staying with BAPP.

There are a couple of long threads on using the 241 on IB, full of useful info.

Off the top of your head are they in this sub forum? A guide on how to book MAD-Destination-MAD-LHR on the 241 would be handy.

Ah, for the future there isn’t a flight to GLA on IB but there is a flight to EDI well timed for the connections from the morning America’s flights.

Iberia’s MAD-EDI service is seasonal, it doesn’t run all year round.
