hello, looking for some advice on how to make a redemption on Iberia between IAD-MAD in January 2026.
On the BA website it looks as though availability is the same as the Iberia site, but only shows until 18th December (T-355?) whereas the Iberia website is showing availability to 24th December 2025.
Is this normal for Iberia to release availability at T-360? If so, the smart move is to transfer avios to Iberia and secure the redemption at 00:01 on the date I’m looking to travel?
It’s 360 at IB but you can call BA and book this over phone. It’s 25th Dec atm. If you need Jan 26 you need to wait a few days.

I think you’ll find you can’t book these extra dates shown on the app, you get a ‘cannot create PNR’ error before payment page. Zapato explains it in another thread active just now (booking return from Brazil). Essentially there’s a trick to steal a bit of extra reward availability from the day after D+360, but it doesn’t work for the following dates up to D+365 in my testing.
Thanks for the help on this. So it looks like the best bet is to move some avios across to Iberia, and try and book at T-360 days. Is there a certain time redemptions to live?
