Any idea what the current cost is to access the lounge as an ambassador member as I have booked a free credit card night which doesn’t give you the option to upgrade?
Rob did an article about IC lounge access via Emyr quite recently – I think they might want £150 per night for the ICPL when added separately. If you’re also Diamond and therefore can get free breakfast, I definitely wouldn’t bother.
Flyertalk has a very long thread on the ICPL (some of their readers are almost religious about it!), where you’ll find lounge and any other info you can think of, lol.
*Also, as seems to have become depressingly common with IC’s recently, they will undoubtedly try and persuade you to purchase a cash upgrade, so this would be another option. We stayed 3 nights in January, 2 paid and one on points – they emailed me beforehand to say that unless we paid to upgrade the points room we would be made to move from the better room we were paying for on the 3rd night. I found this so demoralising I cancelled that night and we stayed somewhere else!
