IHG One Diamond + IC Ambassador

I’m a little confused by the seeming overlap in benefits between the programmes. Staying at an IC, I’d expect to choose free breakfast as the welcome amenity as a Diamond, but would I also get an f&b credit as an Ambassador? In hotels with a resort fee that confers an f&b credit, I assume these would stack – or am I assuming too much?

Yes, you don’t have to use the credit at breakfast. Best to confirm all the credits at check-in, or if you want something in writing email the hotel before your booking passes the point of no return

At the IC Barclay New York, the resort fee includes a daily F&B credit (albeit the definition of daily was drafted in order to confuse). This gets applied to my bills as well as the Ambassador F&B credit (which is once prr stay).
