Hello all
I was gifted gold which expired this Sunday.(card expiry). I did however have 1100 tier points earned by 8th of March. I was expecting to be downgraded to silver, yet my status is bronze. Has anyone experienced this?
Is not a problem much, as I will be gifted gold again, but I don’t want to be gifted gold, then suddenly the system realised that I was supposed to be downgraded to silver and then overwrites my soon to be gifted gold.
Anyone have thoughts on this? I could wait for a few days, but have flights coming up this weekend and bronze is useless for me.
TIA
1100 would normally get you silver but you need 4 qualifying flights.
Did you have those? If not then Bronze would be correct
I don’t think there is a soft landing for gifted status
Yes, I’ve done all 4 flights. Actually all my TPs were gained flying BA. I haven’t got to call BA yet, assume they have a record of my TPs, as I have not taken a screenshot of it. But wanted to have my answers lined up, in case they are trying to find excuses. There is no soft landing as you say, but with 1,100 i was way over the silver threshold. Bizarre
