Hi guys, staying at the Intercontinental DTLA. Any reviews of the hotel or anything you would like to share about the hotel, let me know, staying for the first time out there.
I haven’t stayed here but I’ve stayed at the Ace a few times for work. You’re probably aware of the massive homelessness problem in the area and colleagues who have been back recently say it’s got worse & whereas before they didn’t really bother you going about your business, now there seems to be more of a problem with crime + aggression. Plan to Uber/Lyft door to door (especially at night) and be careful with phones / valuables when on the street
If memory serves, this hotel was reviewed by a reader as part of the ‘Favourite Hotels’ reviews during COVID-19. Should be able to search for it.
I’d avoid staying DTLA if you don’t need to be there. It’s not a great area and isn’t close to touristy stuff either if that’s what you’re there for.
