Hello,
I hope you are all well. I have BA Silver status. I’m just about to book flights from JFK to LAX and the cheapest oneworld fare I can find is flying with JetBlue (B6 4002) but operated by American Airlines (AA 3). Am I eligible to use my oneworld status benefits for this flight and will i also earn Avios and TP? I understand that JetBlue isn’t a OW member.
To complicate things even further I am looking to book through an OTA (Kiwi). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
No.
If you book an AA flight but end on a JetBlue plane then you don’t get TPs or Avios. (You do get AA miles if you are on their program)
If you fly on an AA plane you can use your status. Doesn’t matter who you bought that ticket from.
