Anyone know if its free cancellation , as in no fees or lost points? And if there is a cut off date? I couldnt tell from the app
Free cancellation on the same basis as a flexible cash rate, which is usually 24-48 hours before arrival.
No fees, no points lost.
Special rules may be in place over New Year and special events. These are made very clear in the T&C at the time of booking though.
It will also depend on the hotel. Some have earlier cancellation policies, like 30 days in advance or similar in popular places like Maldives, etc.
Thank you…will go ahead and book. As an aside have noticed a devaluation in bonvoy points…one hotel gone from 50k to 66k a night. One small hotel, is 80k a night. Another just doesn’t have any points for the next year.
Bonvoy is now revenue based – points move in line with cash prices, albeit not in a straight line.
