Towards the end of the year I would need 10 more nights to reach Titanium. From what I’ve read, I believe it should be worth it, but would like to hear any fresh opinions on the matter. So far Platinum was great, love the free breakfast and lounge access, plus had some good upgrades.
Also, says it may take up to 2 months to get the 15 nights, is that still the case?
Thanks!
I applied last month and when Amex finally agreed I could have the card after much wrangling the 15 nights were credited before the card landed on my doorstep.

If I may ask, what was the issue?
It’s pretty quick these days and £75 is well worth it for 15 nights every year.
Personally titanium generally gives you an edge on getting a good upgrade where there’s lots of platinums about
You’ll get the 15 nights within 2 weeks.
The 2025 batch should hit by 5th January at the latest based on previous years.
If you REALLY wanted to, you could cancel at that point and get most of your £95 back ….
Given that you’d also be 30 nights nearer Lifetime Platinum it seems a no-brainer.
You’d probably get a soft landing to Platinum for 2026 too if your stay volume collapsed in 2025.
Thanks both, will go ahead and sign up!
You get more bonus points when Titanium, and you get United Silver (of very limited use!). You might get a few more/better upgrades, but your experience may vary. There’s not much else that’s noticeably different.
The potential soft landing is why I’m doing a mattress run this year – next year isn’t looking so good for Marriott stays for me.
I’d definitely say go for it though – if you’re staying 65 nights a year you will make enough extra points to make it worthwhile I’d have thought. Plus you’ll get a choice benefit for hitting 75 nights, which would easily be worth the card fee alone, unless you choose the mattress discount!
