Anyone having issues (or success) with orders for onboard delivery?
Placed an order in good time for HKG to LHR for last Tuesday, cabin crew had no record of it or anything loaded. Similar thing happened a couple of months ago on a flight from Boston.
On checking my order history it still shows as “processing”, an email request last Wednesday for a refund has not yet been acknowledged, and I have tried phoning a few times today to go into a queue which then goes into what sounds like a mobile voicemail!
If they can’t fulfil or out of stock then fine as long as they let me know in time and process a refund without being chased.
Are they a separate company such as the one Virgin had, or part of BA? A complaint is brewing at the moment, and hope I don’t have to go down the chargeback route on my card.
Highlife Shop is operated by Tourvest, a South African duty free company. The customer service is usually pretty good. In previous experience where items haven’t been marked as collected in flight the order has automatically been refunded, same when the items haven’t been loaded onto the flight. Have only had to contact them once and refund was issued quickly.
I ordered and paid 2 items for a flight last December and one of them wasn’t supplied. Crew didn’t know anything about it and there was no mention of the missing item on the delivery note. Fortunately I managed to find the purchase confirmation email as otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to prove I’d bought the item.
As above, however, it did turn out to be quite easy to contact Highlife Shop by email and they did refund the money fairly quickly.
