My wife and I are looking to travel to Istanbul for 5 nights in late February, does anyone have recommendations for hotels? My wife will be ~20 weeks pregnant so Ideally somewhere relatively central or with good transport links to all the sights. We’re also keen for a decent indoor pool and a few close restaurant options.

    Thanks for your help!

Ciragan is a Kempinski not Marriott

You have all your luxury Marriotts in Istanbul. St Regis to Ritz Carlton if you want luxury.

Otherwise many Authograph collections close to historic sights and bazaars.

I do Hiltons In Istanbul so cannot personally recommend Marriotts

Marriott had hagia Sofia mansions, can’t see it now.

I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci which is easy walking distance of the main sites, there are plenty of places to eat nearby – including a restaurant 10 feet from the hotel entrance that I enjoyed eating at. No pool though

That hotel is part of the Hilton curio collection.

    Conrad Bosphorus
    Hilton Bosphorus
    Hilton Bomonti
    with my preference order.

For Conrad there are many deals, including Platinum’s booking service.

I think the imperial heritage of Istanbul is overrated so I prefer the town centre. Conrad is nice as I can take the ferry everywhere, including a Bosporus tour which I can recommend. There was a viator cashback somewhere thru which I once booked a wonderful boat trip along the strait.
