Ok, just tried again with a different underlying card and received a full page banner ‘American Express payments no longer accepted’. Sigh.
Nonsense. It still works – just tested it. I was fearful people would be claiming back my referral payments.

I wish it was a glitch!! Tried again this evening and all 4 Amex cards show as being ‘unavailable for this purchase’ 😔

FrosiniYes, the ability to pay with Amex was taken away from Google Wallet in the 2nd half of last year and now clearly applies to Apple Pay too.
I don’t use Jam Doughnut anymore. The rewards are very minimal anyway, and I only now use Airtime Rewards to hit the monthly challenge for the bonus payments.
