Hello, as mentioned elsewhere, BA are now allowing the option to change flights for free, including both the time and the date.
I’m currently due to fly from JFK but one of the better timed flights departs from EWR.
Other then less chances of club suite, are there any other significant differences when flying from EWR?
My hotel is near Times Square if that helps, though the amount of luggage precludes use of public transport.
Thanks.
Generally an easier/quicker journey by cab to Newark than JFK.
There’s also the PATH train from Penn Station to Newark which takes minutes rather than the slog on the Subway to JFK (although LIRR to Jamaica is also an option)
Thanks people.
Are the BA lounges any better/worse?
If anyone has any insight regarding the F experience at JFK vs EWR, I’d be interested to hear about that please.
Thanks people.
Are the BA lounges any better/worse?
Very different in F; JFK has the CCR; else not much in it between JFK or EWR, with JFK being the slightly better (I seem to remember finding the check in at EWR was a bit of a pain)
The JFK business lounge is new but rather cavernous and soulless I thought. It’s a good few years now but the EWR lounge seemed cosier and had restaurant-stye dining in a separate room which I liked.
Generally an easier/quicker journey by cab to Newark than JFK.
But also much more expensive if you are going to NYC
At least ex JFK there is a fixed fare (plus tolls and tip.)
