What benefits are supposed to be given as Spire Amb? Have checked in and been given a cpl of drinks vouchers but wasnt sure if there should be something else?
Kimptons don’t generally give you anything for Ambassador (apart from the 3nd night free if you booked with the certificate). Room upgrade plus free drinks and a few F & B goodies in the room are the norm for Spire.
Did you tell them the secret phrase?
I checked in at like 6am and they didnt know anything about a secret phrase but I wasnt gonna push for it at that time 🙂

Pre-arrival communication suggested breakfast that comes with the room is only for 2, and the 2 children would be be charged. I am Diamond AMB (aware latter is irrelevant for Kimpton), could I specify breakfast amenity for myself plus 1 person & breakfast inclusive from the room rate goes to the other 2 persons hence incurring no charges?
How old (and hungry) are you children @Gary ? I’m not sure that any of us can definitively answer your question but perhaps asking the hotel directly would…
Give the hotel an email or a call – if you have diamond and the room rate looked like it would include breakfast, I’d hope they could work something out!
Even with diamond only covering breakfast for two, I’ve never been charged extra for my under-2 (although he eats almost as much as me 🙂 )
